On September 3rd, RESA transformed an ordinary evening at FIU into something unforgettable. Our Orientation Night wasn’t just about introducing the Real Estate Student Association, it was about showing students the missing piece in their college journey. Packed with conversations, laughter, and a room full of motivated students, the night proved that RESA is more than a club: it’s a real community where connections turn into opportunities, and ideas turn into impact. This is just the start of a movement that will shape careers and friendships across campus.

At orientation, we laid out exactly what makes RESA different. We shared our mission to give FIU students a real community where growth, networking, and impact come together. We focus on professional development that actually prepares students for life after college. We also introduced our weekly structure, where every meeting brings something valuable; from guest speakers and hands-on workshops to interactive sessions that push students to think bigger and connect deeper. With RESA, every week is a step forward.

Adding to the experience, students enjoyed food, Crumbl Cookies, and a warm welcome from RESA’s mascot, Ned the Capybara, whose dance moves reminded everyone that professional growth can also be fun and engaging. With its unique mix of opportunities, community, and culture, RESA is filling a vital gap for FIU students by offering not just a club, but a platform for impact, networking, and long-term success.
